The Stockport and District Branch was formed  in 2002 and opened premises in the heart of Hazel Grove in 2004 . We are a branch of the National Alzheimers Society organisation dedicated to the people of Stockport. Run by local people we are all committed to ensuring those who have a form of dementia, carers and their families  have access to all the information and support they need.

Our branch mission statement is

 "To raise awareness, identify and respond effectively to the needs of people with dementia and their carers throughout Stockport."

Our vision is of a community, Where carers and those with a form with dementia are recognised, listened to and fully informed.
